General Undertakings and Conditions
All drivers, team personnel, officials, promoters/organizers, and all persons involved in any capacity whatsoever in the ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE RALLY-RAID CUP undertake, on their own behalf, on behalf of their employees, and agents, to comply with all provisions of the SPORTING REGULATIONS of each organizer.
Whilst the Regulations may be translated into other languages, in case of any dispute regarding interpretation the official English text will prevail.
It is the responsibility of the team to ensure that all persons concerned with its entry observe all the requirements of the Regulations. The responsibility of the rider, or any other person having charge of an entered E-Motorcycle during any part of the event with respect to observance of the Regulations, is joint and several with that of the team.
SPORTING REGULATIONS
INTRODUCTION
A series of two races will be organized, counting towards the Electric Motorcycle Rally Raid Cup for riders.
EVENTS
The Electric Motorcycle Rally Raid Cup will be held over two events:
AFRICA ECO RACE 2026 and MOROCCO SAND EXPRESS 2026.
Race Direction will be that of the AFRICA ECO RACE and MOROCCO SAND EXPRESS events.
SANCO GROUP INTERNATIONAL LTD will be the promoter of the Electric Motorcycle Rally Raid Cup.

The following information will be indicated:
The location on the circuit of the team and rider information center, as well as the official notice board;
The name and address of the company providing third-party liability insurance and the policy number;
The name of the race director and officials;
The Organizing Jury is authorized to amend the rules. In the event of a change to the rules, a notice must be published and posted on the official notice board.
DEFINITION:
The Electric Motorcycle Rally Raid Cup is a competition reserved for electric motorcycles that will take place on any type of rally-raid terrain.
ART. 1 - CALENDAR
AFRICA ECO RACE 2026: January 24, 2026 to February 7, 2026 MOROCCO SAND EXPRESS 2026: May (date to be determined)
ART. 2 – ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS
All competitors with an electric motorcycle (fully electric) may participate in the Electric Motorcycle Rally Raid Cup.
ART. 3 - REGISTRATION
Competitors must download their registration form from the organizer's website and return it duly completed, along with payment of the registration fee.
The opening and closing dates for registration must be stipulated in the Supplementary Regulations for each Event.
By registering for the Electric Motorcycle Rally Raid Cup, the competitor agrees to comply with the technical and safety rules of the discipline, the sporting , and the applicable environmental and medical rules.
ART. 4 – AWARDS AND PRIZES
The winners of the Electric Motorcycle Rally Raid Cup will be awarded in the following categories:
Electric category of each event
The top three finishers in each category will receive a medal
Each organizer reserves the right to organize an awards ceremony.-
ART. 5 - CLASSIFICATION
Each day, the organizers will establish the classification in the electric category.
After each stage of each event, the number of hours for each special stage or the time penalties per stage will be established like this:
Example:
-Stage of 300 km: 5 hours: The electric motorcycle completes the stage in 5 hours. Its ranking in the day's special stage will be 5 hours in the classification of the day .
For each stage the competitor must reach more than 50% of the length of each special of the day If the competitor does not reach 50% of the special, he will have an 5-hour penalty.
If the competitor does not reach 60% of the special, he will have an 4-hour penalty. If the competitor does not reach 70% of the special, he will have an 3-hour penalty. If the competitor does not reach 80% of the special, he will have an 2-hour penalty. If the competitor does not reach 90% of the special, he will have an 1-hour penalty.
If the competitor uses the "camion balai" he will have a penalty of 10 hours
ART. 5.1 CANCELLATION OF A RACE DAY
In the event of a race day being prematurely cancelled, the results will only be validated if half or more of the competitors in each category have completed at least 50% of the special stages, in accordance with the number of stages planned by Race Direction.
ART. 6 – ELIGIBLE ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES
Electric motorcycles must pass technical inspections.
Electric motorcycles must comply with the original catalog.
For rally raid events organized outside of Europe, the applicable national or regional standards will be mentioned in the Supplementary Regulations.
No electronic communication devices will be used during the race.
Riders may bring spare batteries, which must be checked and marked by the organizer.
ART. 7 – ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL
Upon arrival at the event site, competitors must report to the administrative control. The location and times must be specified in the Supplementary Regulations of the event.
If a machine is loaned, a document must mention the owner's name.
In return, the organizer will provide competitors with an event file including:
A circuit diagram and special stages (map),
A route sheet including the following information:
Mileage of the connecting roads and special stages,
The overall elevation gain of the course, if possible,
An identification wristband.
ART. 8 – TECHNICAL INSPECTION ART. 8.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
A technical inspection before the event is mandatory. Competitors are responsible for their electric motorcycle at all times, and must present it themselves or through their representative for technical inspection at the times and locations indicated in the Supplementary Regulations.
Competitors must present a clean electric motorcycle. Any previous technical inspection marks (stickers, paint marks) must be removed. Technical delegates must mark the tires, wheels, batteries, frame, and engine with stickers. Once the stickers have been applied, they must not be removed from the electric motorcycle.
A technical sheet will be provided by the organizer. Competitors must indicate the characteristics of each electric motorcycle.
Competitors must also present their helmet, which must be marked (sticker).
Competitors are reminded that their electric motorcycles and equipment are their sole responsibility for the duration of the event. In particular, they must ensure constant surveillance and may not, under any circumstances, make a claim against the organizer in the event of theft or damage.
After the technical inspection, any machine changes are strictly prohibited, except with the authorization of the technical delegates.
ART. 8.2 Race Plate
The registration plate will be provided by the organizers after the vehicle's technical inspection.
The competitor is responsible for ensuring its legibility throughout the event.
ART. 8.3 Cameras
The use of cameras on helmets is prohibited (including camera mounts). The use of cameras on electric motorcycles is permitted.
The scrutineers will approve the placement of the cameras.
ART. 8.4 NON-PRESENTATION OR NON-COMPLIANCE
Any electric motorcycle not presented for the technical inspection or declared non-compliant by the technical steward will be refused entry.
ART. 9 – E-BIKE COMPLIANCE CHECKS DURING AND AT THE END OF THE EVENT
The technical stewards are authorized to carry out any compliance checks they deem necessary to ensure the smooth running of the competition, at any time along the route and at the end of each day of racing.
ART. 10 – CHARGING OR REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES
Charging batteries is permitted only in the service area provided by the organizer.
The organizers will provide battery replacement bays during timed special stages. These bays will be located every 90 to 100 km during each special stage.
ART. 10.1 Electric motorcycle before and after each stage
Electric motorcycles have the possibility of charging in a truck or trailer before and after each special stage
ART. 11 – STARTING AREA – STARTING ORDER
The start will be given in an area called the "starting area," which will be indicated on the map sent to competitors by the organizer.
ART. 12 - ROUTE
A rally's itinerary may consist of:
A liaison course
Timed special stages
Electric motorcycles are permitted to make liaison runs in a truck or trailer
The length, description, and route of the race will be determined by the organizer.
The route must be followed at all times in the direction planned by the organizers. Consequently, the special stages must be taken by competitors in the order defined by the organizers.
ART. 13 – SIGNAGE – ROUTE MARKING
Given that the Event may use roads and/or paths open to public traffic, competitors must comply with the traffic laws and the signs put in place by the organiser. Officials may sanction any breach.
It is strictly forbidden to leave the itinerary indicated and signposted by the organiser, unless so decided by the Clerk of the Course
ART. 14 - EXCEPTIONAL MEASURES
If, for safety reasons or due to force majeure, a portion of the circuit or a special stage becomes impassable, the Race Director may divert the course or cancel a special stage.
ART. 15 – SPECIAL STAGE
The organizer undertakes to comply with these regulations in their entirety, particularly those relating to special stages.
An emergency service must be available and a sufficient number of marshals must be provided to ensure the smooth running of the course, the safety of competitors, and the reinstatement of signaling after an incident..
ART. 16 - TECHNICAL CONTROL AREA / PARC FERMÉ
At the end of the race, or the final part of an interrupted race, all classified electric motorcycles will be directed to a mandatory control area (Parc Fermé) pending inspection by the Technical Stewards or any protests.
It is the responsibility of the teams and riders to ensure that the electric motorcycle is in the Parc Fermé. Electric motorcycles will normally be released from the Parc Fermé 30 minutes after the finish of the race. They may not be removed without the Jury's approval.
With the exception of Jury members, the Clerk of the Course and officials who are in charge of keeping watch over the closed park area, no-one may at any time or for any reason be admitted into this area unless they have a written and signed authorisation from the Clerk of the Course.
ART. 17 – AWARDS CEREMONY
An awards ceremony will be held at the end of the rally. The top three competitors will be awarded a trophy.
ART. 18 - PROTESTS
Protests must be submitted to the organizers.
ART. 19 – ENVIRONMENTAL RULES
Competitors must comply with the environmental rules established by the organizer.
Raise awareness among drivers about environmental rules using a microphone, ask them to return their used tires and not throw them away,
Provide a sufficient number of containers, trash cans, and trash bags in and around the service park
Take all necessary measures to preserve the environment at the start of special stages, preserve crops, install trash bags and replace them if necessary,
Remove any signs that may have been placed on the course and access points to the site at the end of the event,
ART. 20 – SANCTIONS - PENALTIES
The main sanctions and penalties will be those set out in each organizer's rules.

ART. 21 – WINNER ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE RALLY RAID CUP
At the end of the general classification and the accumulation of the two events , the winner of the electric motorcycle rally raid cup will be named.
